At the 6th China International Import Expo（CIIE） held in Shanghai from November 5 to November 10, SIHA under P-Cure Group showcases for the first time its P-Cure proton therapy treatment system (PPTS) to the public.

PPTS is an ultra-compact proton system that combines imaging positioning and radiation therapy. It is a gantry-less seated-position solution and achieves 360-degree proton therapy treatment. As an advanced radiation therapy system, it uses proton beams to treat tumors, minimizing damage to the surrounding healthy tissue.

Compared with existing clinical radiotherapy, proton therapy has significant advantages. Thanks to its innovative design concept and the use of the latest technology and materials, PPTS is smaller in size and lighter in weight, and it can be modularly assembled, greatly reducing the construction period and the shielding costs of the entire project.

It is the first time for P-Cure’s ultra-compact proton therapy system to showcase at the CIIE, which is of great significance, and has attracted the attention of a large number of Chinese and foreign audience. Both professional and general audience have shown great interest in P-Cure proton therapy system, especially its miniaturized design, innovative seated position treatment, therapeutic advantages and effects. They expect P-Cure proton therapy system to provide more tumor patients with high-quality and accurate treatment.

In addition, groups of leaders from Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and municipal Government, other provinces and cities’ municipal Party committee and municipal government, and Investment Promotion Bureau visit the P-Cure booth and talk with SIHA leaders and technicians, to learn about the unique advantages of P-Cure proton therapy system, and put forward eager expectations for its development prospects and market applications.
